The titanium nitride etched CRKT OBAKE SKOSHI wields with a superior slash, cut and puncturing power. Designed by Lucas Burnley and inspired by the traditional Japanese Kaiken knives, the small size of the Obake Skoshi can fit in your breast pocket or waistband in the same way the Kaiken was carried in the kimono by the warriors of old. Like the Kaiken, this knife promises survival and protection. The cord-wrapped handle ensures a strong grip for whatever purpose.
The sheath comes with a black cord lanyard and skull bead to make it easy to slide onto your belt and hold in place and then slip the sheathed blade into your waistband. The nylon and glass fiber sheath is specially designed so that when you draw the blade from this position, the sheath will clear your body before it clears the blade keeping you safe. It can be carried in any number of ways so feel free to find which way works best for your style and needs.
With a 2.4" blade length, this fixed blade can be carried in most states. At a little over 5", the total length strikes a balance between convenience and strength. While "Skoshi" means "small quantity" in Japanese, we think the fit it is just right.
